If you're looking for gift or favour ideas for your wedding, do your bit for charity by checking out the Swarovski designs in aid of Breast Cancer awareness month. Swarovski has designed a pretty limited edition pink crystal and enamel pendant, and a matching pink pen, filled with sparkly pink crystals. The pendant retails at £35, with £15 from each sale going to Breast Cancer Care. The pink pen will retail at £14 with £1 from every sale going to the charity. Both products will be available in Swarovski stores from October. Murray Lindo, director of fundraising at Breast Cancer Care, says: "We are delighted to be extending our successful partnership with Swarovski this year. We have been working together since 2002 and are extremely grateful for all the support we have received from Swarovski over these years. "Every 11 minutes, somebody in the UK hears the news that they have breast cancer, and we want to offer support to each and every one of them, and their friends and families, right from the moment of diagnosis, through to living with the disease."

The new autumn/winter collection from jewellery designer Claudia Bradby has some of the prettiest designs we've ever seen...
The collection, aptly named Charmed, contains a selection of beautifully delicate sterling silver charms, perfect for adding to necklaces and bracelets. Brides-to-be can also use them to embellish handbags and shoes for an utterly romantic vintage feel. There are three designs to choose from, but our favourite has to be this bird design, priced at £45.

| The new romantics |
 |
Hmmm... they say you can't hurry love. But in a recent survey carried out by Warwickshire wedding venue Compton Verney, it appears you can. Research has found that just under 23% of the couples surveyed had been together less than six months before deciding to get married - and almost 40% engaged within 12 months.
It's clear that once couples believe they have found their perfect partner, they're keen to hurry them down the aisle. But does it mean that chivalry has been banished too?
The poll, which surveyed 5,000 people, found that the proposers failed to make sure the big question was as romantic as they could make it - and almost 10% proposed while their partner was doing domestic chores! Over half of the people surveyed didn't even bother to get down on one knee.
Chocs and flowers, anyone?
